Dota 2 Guides
Welcome, if you are a beginner or a seasoned player you will find the Dota 2 Guides we present you here very useful. By using this fantastic dota 2 strategy guides you will be able to dominate every single dota 2 hero with ease and precision.
You will learn how to dominate your hero but mostly and more importantly how to work as a team and win at Dota 2.
As you’re starting out, avoid going alone in a lane. If you learned to play with a hero and think that you can defeat everyone, remember that a slightly more experienced player can easily outsmart you. Always go together with an ally, and if he leaves suddenly, stay tuned for enemies that arrive out of nowhere to kill you.
DotA 2 players are smart (most at least ^ ^), then when they know that you don’t play very well, will focus on you, what may cause the opposing team’s advantage.
Avoid dying. Death makes you lose gold, the enemy wins gold, you will not be able to do anything for a while (believe me, those few seconds will seem like an eternity). If you have little life, go back to heal at your base, and remember: WHILE YOU HAVE LOW LEVEL, ALWAYS TRY to HAVE ITEMS of HEALING with YOU!
Try to always carry a Scroll of teleportation to help allies quickly. This is important, no matter what type of hero you are using.
If you chose a support hero, support. Don’t go thinking “I am the AXE! COME BEAT ME UP, “and playing NOOBS in the middle of everybody if you’re playing to Dazzle. This is just an example, if you are, try to let the ganker Carrier become stronger. Stay within your class, and all will be well.
DotA 2 is a game of team play. If your team is so helpful , try to talk with them. It may seem ridiculous to a beginner teaching players a long time to help others.
Dota 2 Strategy
For matches where the team with efficiency, learn that the Chat and sharpener (Alt + click on the map) are great tools. You can tell if an enemy left their lane saying “so and so miss” or “so-and-so left” and use the pointer to indicate the lane. If you have more information, you can speak “so miss, bot, mid rising by the river”. This really helps in traps. Whenever you see a hero by map, somewhere risky (e.g. going toward the lane of an ally) advise and point on the map where it was to help your team.
Try to always learn more. DotA is a flexible game, with various types of strategy. Even if you play nicely with one or two heros, that doesn’t mean much. Learn all the heroes of the game. It may take a while, but it is rewarding. Nothing worse than being hit and even die for something that you don’t know or how it works. Learn about the the most used heroes at least. Know your strengths and weaknesses.
The Builds of internet items (are mini-guides that show the order of skills and items) are useful, but for quick consultation. When you start playing with a hero, you should look for more complete Dota 2 Guides to better your skill level.
This has already been said so many times that even seems to stick, but there is no perfect BUILD and no perfect hero. Each game situation requires different items. The enemy team has powerful magic users? A Magic Wand is quite useful. The opposing team calls with magic attacks all the time? A Hood of Defiance falls as well. Your hero has as much resistance as a certain purple Toad (who is?)? Make an item that give strength, as a Poor Man’s Shield, Vitality Booster or even Vanguard. Always know your enemies to know what to use.
